Took me awhile to find the answer for this one, but finally did. I'll be trying this out later to see if it works in this situation at WG.
A car with shocks that have too much Rebound may have to be run with lots of static ground clearance – a high ride height. Why? As this car hits a bump at speed, the springs and shocks compress, bringing the chassis closer to the track surface. With too much Rebound, the shocks take a long time to extend after being compressed. Before the shocks and springs are fully extended back to static ride height, the car hits another bump causing the car to sit even lower still. Then it hits another bump, sucking it down even lower again. This continues, with the shocks “jacking” themselves down, the car bottoming out, the driver reporting that, and the crew raising the static
ride height. As you can see, it has nothing to do with the car’s ride height setting. It has to do with the shocks’ Rebound setting.

So, if your car is bottoming, or you want to lower the ride height without it bottoming, try reducing the high speed Rebound.

Stock tune setup. Everyone in the same boat and more about driving racing then a tune lol. Might make things more intresting.

I would vote NO on Stock Tune. It's just not safe or fun.

I drove the car for first time last nite in stock trim and was a blast to drive. Quite easy to abuse the limits straight out the box

I found that Turn 1 was the main reason I need a tuned set up, using a wheel.

I set up with DF 6/10. Lower Rear FST BMP, Lower Front SLW RBD, and Lower Front & Rear FST RBD, and lower Rear SPRG. Got rid of the issue with turn 1, and all the others quite frankly. Sway was at 200/50. Now I can just drive at the limits without risk of loosing control, and crashing into someone and destroying someones position.

This race will be more realistic than we have had before. Full hardcore mode. That included tuning being allowed.

I never could actually get a good feel for the Helmet Cam, until a bud gave me his set up. Now I'm addicted to it! here it is for the benefit of anyone and all.
World Movement - 100
G-Force - 40
Helmet Lean - 10
Camera Lean - 90

Dont worry mate, you need a team, and so does Stoned Stig!

I will be commentating on the event and would love to see guys who dont normally race against each other on track be forming a team to win it together! Smile
Just saying.

I figured if peeps were running around the 1.40 mark I'd potentially only get lapped twice (almost 3 times). At 1.33s that'll be three times at least.

I can't bear to inflict that sort of time loss on any team...IF I did this I'd be like the kid that gets picked last for the teams at school.... (oh that was me!)
