GT3 Endurance Series, Round 3: Spa GP Qualifying Session Structure

Post by DSRL aidtheace on Fri Mar 03, 2017 1:24 am

As the race will start at 8pm on Sunday 26th March 2017 and will last 2 hours, we will not have time to qualify and race at 8pm.
So, the qualifying sessions for Round 3 of the DSRL GT3 Endurance Series will be as follows:

Qualifying Session 1: 19th March 2017 at 8pm UK time
Qualifying Session 2: 23rd March 2017 at 8pm UK time
Qualifying Session 3: 23rd March 2017 at 1am UK time
Qualifying Session 4: 26th March 2017 at 7pm UK time

YOU MAY ONLY PARTICIPATE IN ONE QUALIFYING SESSION!

There are 4 sessions to cater for people not being able to make a certain time and day. Hopefully you all can make one of these sessions.
If anyone is struggling to participate in a session, then please dont hesitate to message me and I will arrange a session for you.

Good luck and we will see you on the track!

Good stuff - it'll stop the "grounds for divorce" element of the longer races!

Couple of questions....

Does that mean that the race sign ups will close earlier than the usual 6pm on the race day?

Will the lap times be held as "closed book" until the final session is complete?

Not that I'm worried I'll set a time in one of the earlier sessions, only to be bettered later on. Oh no. That's absolutely not it... Very Happy

Hello, Sign ups will most likely stay as 6pm on the day of the race as then people can still race even if they dont qualify as its a 2 hour race.

And yes it will be closed book saved in a spreadsheet and posted up on the forum after the final session, so half hour before the race Smile
