what is it with ppl calling themselves sim racers, you donuts, lol.
wether you run with assists or not is a preference, on a game.

the main focus should always be the racing, not what ppl use to race.

I would say that on a site called, The dedicated SIM racing league, all your series should be everything off and cockpit view, or the name is kinda missleading.

Perhaps you need to run series on different nights for each.

sunday is everything off series night, if you enter you understand that its everything turned off.

then another night can be how you want with everything on if you want it.

People are taking this stuff way too serious recently. I've had abuse from people because i use a racing line and i use assists when they're allowed. i don't see the problem because if anything it slows you down using assists so why moan at people for using it all?

Thats nuts i use racing line on tracks i dont know blind folded. And allways have corner lines on in lobby races so i have a gòod idea were others arw as alot use race lines so if anything its there to tell you were others are. Other assists its personal prefrence some cars benifit some dont... pcars has the ability to rurn them on or of by wheel and has a tab that simply turns them on or off dependent of car as i said before

For tonights race i will be using tc in sector one thwn turn it off for sector 2 back on again for last corner then off again for the main straight

Why handicap yourself by trying to race uncomfortable

Racing line is something that we as organisers cannot enforce. There is no way to allow it or disallow it.

even though I use Cockpit view, i'd still vote not forced. Why stop a few people racing because they use a different view.

Having said that though, the only thing a "real world" driver IS forced to do is look through the windscreen.

as mentioned above, it's about the racing, not what assists are on. (that said Assisted Steering and Assisted Braking are a no no!)

If the car has ABS, TCS & STM in real life they why can't you use it in game, it's not more "sim" to turn it all off.
