Really good racing tonight! Smile
Good turn out for both Classes. CONGRATS to Micko on the GT3 win having taken it from under SimmoSumo's nose.

Good finish to the race.. congrats to Micko. Definitely going to be a bit of learning curve for me on tire management. I'm hoping to have a better result at Monza.

Fighting talk. I like it. The Audi R8 should go round Monza well tbh.

Wow what a finish, had a long dice with Dan mid race which went on for laps, eventually got past but after a long pit stop found myself back in third? Dan had an off then set about catching Sommo, with 2 laps to go I was 5 secs plus adrift then Simmos tyres went and I caught him with 3 corners to go, he ran wide and was able to snatch victory! Go look on my clips. Great clean racing

Thanks you very much for Sunday nights racing.

I think it went possibly the smoothest this series has had so far and I can only think all you guys for it.

Lobby A had a restart as we lost a couple of guys during the loading screen so that put us back by about 5 minutes whilst everything was setup.

The rolling start was awesome. Everyone was nicely lined up and there was a good defined gap between the 2 classes.

TC got a little bit too stringed out for my liking. Drift and Idiot had a coming together at lap 4 which basically put paid to Drifts race. I had a spin on lap 1 as well which put me back by about 10 seconds which I then spent the next 15 laps reeling in Idiot.

Unfortunately I missed my braking point into the hairpin which put Idiot into the barrier. This meant he needed a pitstop to repair his damage but also meant he needed an extra pitstop nearer the end of the race just to make it on fuel.

Aid was on another level during the race, which didn't surprise me since he was 1.4 seconds quicker in qualifying. I put in a reasonably good second stint and was able to match his pace, but it didn't mean a lot when there was 45 seconds between us.

GT sounded like it was a fantastic race. Tyres were taking a pounding which necessitated a 3 stop strategy and it kept things a very level playing field.

Simmo unfortunately outbraved himself into the hairpin on the very last lap which allowed micko to take his 3rd class win of the season.

Now onto the temple of speed! Monza!
